ENTERTAINMENT HIGHLIGHTS from the Kewaunee County Fair in Luxemburg

HAIRBALL TO ROCK STAGE AT KEWAUNEE COUNTY FAIR
The Kewaunee County Fair will host Hairball on the Vans Lumber Midway Stage on Friday evening, July 20. A band puts on a concert, Hairball puts on an event! Hairball is a rock & roll experience you won’t forget. The lights, sound video screens, smoke, fire, bombs, confetti, spiders, snakes and hordes of screaming , rabid Hairball fans creates an event you won’t forget. The show is a 2+ hour mind blowing , drop dead accurate homage to some of the biggest arena acts in the world, Van Halen, KISS, Motley Crue, Queen, Journey, Aerosmith are but a few that will be brought back to life. Hairball is in its 18th year of rocking fans across the country. Every night is a 100% full-on, no hold barred, exciting chaotic, fiery party that has to be experienced to be believed. Hairball will take the stage at 9:30 and with opening act “Conscience Pilot” warming up the crowd prior to the big show.

COUNTRY’S STAR HEIDI NEWFIELD OF TRICK PONY AT FAIR
Music fans know Heidi Newfield for fronting Trick Pony, which rode songs including ”Pour Me”, “On a Night Like This” and “It’s a heartache” to awards, acclaim and packed houses nationwide. She’s also recognized for a remarkable evolution as a solo artist, writing and recoding the poignant ”Johnny & June” from a deeply personal place. More than a radio hit and impetus for a fist full of academy of Country Music nominations, the song brought Newfield’s multi-faceted creativity into the sharper relief it deserved. She’s a good timing, honky-tonkin’, band leading, song writing, love song singing, blues harp blowing, tradition-nurturing, genre-busting, crowd-caring, full hearted flag bearer for all that’s true about music. The show is Saturday evening, July 21 at the Kewaunee County Fair in Luxemburg.
Opening for Heidi will be “Chicken Wire” Milwaukee’s favorite blue grass country band. It will be a memorable night for country fans at the Fair, you won’t want to miss it.

THE COUGARS OPEN THE KEWAUNEE COUNTY FAIR
On Thursday evening, July 19, The Cougars will open the Fair on the Van’s Lumber Midway Stage. The Green Bay area 6 piece rock band is fronted by 3 lead female vocalist, Anna Snyder, Stephanie Reini, and Heather Tenhaken. Their specialty is belty, high energy songs and lots of harmonies. You’ll hear everything from Journey to Lady GaGa with some cross over country mixed in. They also play 80’s hits and party songs to keep the dance floor full. While fun is the name of the game with this band.
